If you've opened this page, you probably want to know who's behind the name Art Flaneur.
We're a "big" corporation of two people - Eva and Tim. And Art Flaneur is our love story and family story. Tim is a tech guy who loves Japanese jazz and Eva. Eva is a photographer who loves walking through cities and visiting places with "art gallery" signs. One day, I'll defend my PhD thesis on professional artists' careers.
Yes, there are two of us. We hire freelancers from around the world for different tasks that come up along the way. Sometimes we get help from art industry professionals who like the project and support us.
Art Flaneur isn't a media company with a big investor backing us. We finance the project ourselves, from our family budget. We're looking for a business model (and think we've found it) to make the project stable and gradually grow.
We don't have "invitation-only access," we don't only add those who pay big numbers to our budget. No, any independent gallery or artist's studio can make it onto the map. But we do offer premium listings for those who want to stand out.
We also provide a really good set of services for art fairs, festivals, art biennials and triennials (even quadrennials). And we're confident that no one else in the world offers what we do.
And we keep expanding it. After all, Tim has that very current profession as MLops. Yes, he's setting up our AI model, and soon it will be available to users and art managers.
What you see now is a small part of our big project. It's being built in real time, and we're constantly adding new features.
How can you help us reach the app state we're striving for faster?
If you want to offer us VC investments, we'll most likely decline. We don't accept any investments related to aggressive growth and demands for x100 return on investment in 5 years. Our mental health and emotional stability are much more important to us.
But we're open to one more co-founder who would handle fundraising and monetisation.
