Indeed, Russia loves scale and preferably canvas butter if they buy "jewellery" for walls. But graphics have 2 advantages: 1. Price; 2. Ease of storage. Buying Vinogradov-Dubosarsky or Gutov as part of the circulation is much cheaper than large canvases. But these names will be in the collection. The same pattern applies to world (already) classics. And here's the storage... As I wrote, now I have a period of active communication with collectors. When I hear the numbers 300, 2000, 7000! Works in the collection, I immediately understand that a significant part of this is (circulation) graphics. Although there is a storage problem with so much. Judging by the growing print markets, "Graphics" sections on Russian-language art marketplaces, Russian-speaking collectors and just amateurs are changing their views. Am I happy? Of course! After all, circulation is a great entrance for young collectors to the art world.
