What it means to be an art consultant?

A few years ago I found myself as a structural functionalist, as I look at everything in terms of performing functions in some constructs. First of all, I look at myself and the people I meet. So, the functions of an art consultant: - Creation of an art collection; - Work on the integrity of the collection (concept of collecting, ideas, dreams, directions); - Search for artworks on the market; - Purchase and sale of works; - Legal support of the transaction; - Calculation of the annual budget for the procurement of art; - Analysis of the art market: prices, artists, tracking the choice of museum procurement funds; - Annual reports on the best exhibitions of the year, sales records, and new names. When I "want to do art" abstractly, I imagined a maximum study of history. But this myth in my head has long been debunked...
